This Saturday, October 24th, Folly Beach will host the 8th Annual FollyPalooza Cancer Benefit and Street Festival! This family-friendly event will feature a silent auction, live entertainment by several artists, local food and art vendors, kids activities and more.
The annual fundraiser directly supports the neighbors of Folly Beach, who due to medical ailments, are in dire need of financial support. Founded in 2007, FollyPalooza’s mission is to primarily raise money for cancer patients and also help those with other critical illnesses and medical issues on a case-to-case basis.
The festival will be held on Center Street from 10am – 5pm. Entry is free, with money raised through the silent auction, 50/50 raffle, date auction and carnival games. This year’s event will feature over 50 food and art vendors on Center Street and at Folly Beach County Park, as well as a local art competition at the Community Center. Entertainment includes Deadwin, Noelle Brown & The Troublemakers, The Outervention, Jazz on the Edge Allstars, Champagne with Friends, Wire & Wood and more.
Be sure to come out to Folly this weekend and join in all the fun all while raising money for our local cancer patients!!
